The city of Torrevieja is famous for its nature areas, the healthy microclimate created by the two large salt lakes, and its fine sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. The overall area enjoys a Mediterranean climate, with average temperatures of 12ºC in winter and 25ºC in summer.
